Usain Bolt triumph 200 meters race in Olympic final

Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt ruined his period with victory in the 200 metres at the World Athletics Final in Thessaloniki, Greece on Sunday.

The Olympic and world champion was fast out of the bend as usual Sunday but relaxed toward the end, when he realized he would not be setting another world record. Wallace Spearmon of the United States was second in 20.21 and Brendan Christian of Antigua was third in 20.65.

The three-time world and Olympic winner clocked 19.68 seconds in a powerful triumph in front of Wallace Spearman of the United States (20.21) and Brendan Christian of Antigua (20.65).

Bolt was in supreme form once again as he coasted home in Greece. This was the most recent race of the season for Bolt, who said he will return to Jamaica to celebrate his world records in the 100 and 200 at last month's world championships.
World bronze medallist Jenny Meadows produced Britain's best performance with third place in the women's 800m.
