Big FM Radio Jocky set Non-stop talking Limca Book of Record

A large number of radio jockeys of Big 92.7 FM radio, Thiruvananthapuram, will attempt to set a record of 92.7 hours of continuous radio jockeying. The non-stop talk marathon will start at 9.27 a.m. on Friday.

Priyesh Prathap, station head of Big 92.7 FM, Thiruvananthapuram, said that the first target is to achieve 92.7 hours of talk and the show would go on depending on the well-being of the RJs. The Limca Book of Records has an air-marathon record of 107 hours, while the Guinness record is 217 hours by a RJ in London.

He added that the radio jockeys have held several practice sessions and besides, he is undergoing yoga and breathing exercises to keep fit.

The RJs will take an hour�s break depending on their needs. The central theme of the record-breaking attempt is fight against drugs. Big 92.7 FM radio has 44 stations across the country.
