The largest underwater wedding was achieved by 261 divers at the marriage ceremony between Francesca Colombi and Giampiero Giannoccaro (both Italy) during an event organised by MARES S.p.A. (Italy) at the Morcone beach, Capoliveri, Elba Island, Italy on 12 June 2010.
