Brahmanandam has earned a place in the Guiness Book of World Records for acting in a phenomenal 754 Telugu films in a career spanning 20 years. Dr Brahmanandam confirmed that he got the official confirmation on Wednesday from the Guinness Foundation.Brahmanandam is the comedy king of Telugu cinema. Prior to movies, he was a Telugu lecturer in the town of Sattenapalli, a rural town in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He began his filming career with popular Telugu director and writer, Jandhyala's Aha Na Pellanta in which Rajendra Prasad played the lead role. Owing to his comic abilities, he is now one of the most respected comedians in the history of Telugu cinema.
Every year he acts in a minimum of 35 films, for the past 22 years. According to him, Jandhyala was the best comedy director he has ever worked with. He is presently writing a book based on his experiences in the film industry.
