‘Paa’ was well thought-out as Amitabh Bachchan’s superlative performance of his Bollywood career. Make a sole movie has almost certainly landed director Balki’s movie ‘Paa’ in Guiness Book of World records.
This is the first Bollywood film where a father plays son and the son his father. After reaching his 60’s, Big B played the role of a 13-yr old progeric child, whereas actor Abhishek Bachchan plays his father and Vidya Balan as his mother. This unique star cast has made ‘Paa’ special and the film will soon be written in the Guinness Book of World Records, if reports are to be believed.
Director Balki said that for him Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Vidya were playing the roles that he had in mind for them from the start. The casting is exceptional. It hasn't been done in any part of the world. Plans are in progress to enter 'Paa' into the Guinness Book in various categories.
It is not the first time that Bollywood has been in the Guiness Book of world records. Priyanka was also in the news for her 12 roles in ‘What’s your Rashee?, probably making it to the Guiness Books.
