Hyderabad, Jan 12, Dinaz Vervatwala a fitness coach has broken down and claims an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for completing 26-hour-long aerobics marathon, the record for the longest aerobics class ever.
She achieved this feat on Sunday with her trainee-associates. She completed her 26-hour-long aerobics marathon Sunday. The well-known fitness trainer took to a stage in southern India with 700 volunteers, who joined her on the stage before applauding audience who waved the Indian tri color with pride.
In previously she has stamped her name in the record books at the national and Asian levels for lengthiest sessions of aerobics.
Her feat was celebrated with fireworks after she finished last night. The record still needs to be certified by the Guinness World Record committee.
A packet containing a tape of the session and signed witness accounts has been sent to the committee in London.
Dinaz also mentioned that through her record-breaking and record-making feats, she wishes to relay the message to the society on the essence of fitness and remaining fit psycho-physically.
