World famous fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s is face up to to create a Guinness World Records record in Christchurch today by cooking the “World’s Largest Scrambled Egg.”
To make the world record attempt McDonald’s will use more than 20,000 eggs and a whopping 100 liters of cream.
It will be cooked in a specially made dish measuring 5.4m across and 150ml deep.
The event will be held in Cathedral Square where the cooked eggs will be officially weighed at 7:30am.
McDonald’s will be using the record attempt to promote its use of free range eggs in all Christchurch and Dunedin restaurants, a change starting today
