Paddy Doyle {GB} once again pushed his body to the limits to regain a previous World Record he held. Doyle beat Rob Simpson {leeds UK} step ups record on a 15 inch bench, whilst carrying a 40 lb back pack. The final total was 1,619 step ups. Paddy was well supported by spectators and his loyal team of training partners.
About Paddy
Paddy Doyle served in the Parachute Regiment and three reserve army units, the first being Special Forces Unit, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Air Movements Squadron and Regiment Squadron and The Royal Fusiliers West Midlands Regiment A Company.
He has also worked as a doorman at club and public house venues. His sporting career speaks for itself competing in Judo, winning Bronze and Silver Junior Championship medals and winning ten freestyle Kumite full contact martial arts title records in Kumite Karate and boxing recognised by the World United Martial Arts Association UK and the Guinness Book of World Records, and on 16th Feb 2005 Paddy was awarded the Official Worlds Fittest Athlete title by the Record Holders Association
He holds a Black Belt 3rd Dan in Freestyle Martial Arts officially registered byWUMA and has been inducted into the 2003 World United Martial Arts Association Hall of Fame for outstanding achievement in the Fighting Martial Arts and as a competitor. Throughout his athletic career he has achieved 148 Fitness Endurance Records consisting of strength, speed and stamina. His Boxing Freestyle Karate officially registered fight career totals 2 85 full contact contests.
