A French group set up a 100-strong 'kissing chain' in New York's Union Square over the weekend, in an attempt to set a new world record.Organised by the Institute Bonne Heure, the kissing chain - which saw each person in the line kiss each of their neighbours - was intended to "spread happiness and freedom", according to one participant. The group's attempt has yet to be verified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
