'Sin City' star Jessica Alba has beaten 99 other famous women to top the list of women that most American men desire, and would want for their girlfriend.
The 24-year old actress defeated British beauty Sienna Miller and Angelina Jolie, who came in second and third place respectively, to be named as the one with the most 'long-term relationship material' in the poll by online magazine askmen.com
Readers were asked to vote according to the woman they would most want a relationship with, would consider marrying or thought best-suited to be the mother of their children.
The list was determined by the rankings of 2.5 million readers who visited the website, and by the site's staff.
James Bassil, editor-in-chief of AskMen.com, said that though the list did not necessarily reflect an accurate reflection of the qualities a person wants for a long-term relationship, it was however, not one based solely on a woman s looks.
"I don't believe it's an entirely accurate reflection of what a reader strives for in their long-term relationships, but at the same time, it s not a sheerly surface appreciation. We encouraged readers not to go on looks alone," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted him, as saying.
Brazilian model Adriana Lima who topped the list last year, fell three places to the fourth spot. She was followed by Access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos at fifth place.
