Teen Courage is something to think about, because it represents the beginning of one's ability to overcome fear - to face that fear in different ways.
People who are courageous still be frightened when there's something to be scared of, but they have the courage to face it. Courage is about pushing through your fear and doing what is right or enjoyable.
The words "courage" and "strength" are often used interchangeably. Perhaps this is because strength must be present in order to find real courage. However, when you feel that you don't have the necessary strength, you can ask for God's help to give you the courage needed to get through a task. Sometimes the simple task of asking for courage helps you remember that no matter what happens God will be with you all the way.
As a teen, it is sometimes easy to get carried away with what we think of courage. Many of us may do stupid and dangerous things that can harm us, thinking that we are demonstrating courage. Perhaps this is because some teens just don't understand the meaning of real courage. In many cases, it takes more courage for them to walk away from a dare than to actually do the crazy stunt.. Real courage is not doing dare devil stunts; real courage is making it through the challenge all the way.
In a lifetime, we come across billions of challenges and many a time we are scared and worried. But whenever we are afraid, we can pray for courage.
This is a teen's view of today. My views may change one day, but I think I'm on the right track.
